Turkish food in Lambeth: where to eat, by neighbourhood
Lambeth is one of the most under-served Turkish food markets in London: sixteen restaurants for a borough of 317,000 with strong search demand, spread thinly from Waterloo to Streatham. What exists is well rated; there is simply not much of it.

This guide walks Lambeth by neighbourhood: Waterloo and the South Bank; Clapham and Brixton; West Norwood and Streatham; The opportunity. Counts, hygiene shares and postcode clusters come from our directory; the map below is seeded on the city centre, and each neighbourhood links to the restaurants we list there.
Waterloo and the South Bank
SE1 has a few Turkish restaurants serving the South Bank crowd and Waterloo commuters, including one or two long-established grills with loyal followings.
Clapham and Brixton
SW4 and SW9 have a scattering: a grill in Clapham, a couple of takeaways and a meze place around Brixton. For the density of restaurants in these neighbourhoods, Turkish food is barely represented.
West Norwood and Streatham
SE27 and SW16 have the borough's small southern cluster, family-run grills and kebab houses on the high streets. These are the most neighbourhood-feeling Turkish restaurants in Lambeth.
The opportunity
Our feasibility data ranks Lambeth among the top ten under-served councils in the country: high search demand, a large affluent population, and sixteen restaurants. Clapham, Brixton and Herne Hill are each without a sit-down Turkish restaurant of note.
